Whats with Players Only ???

Whats up with this site? Sounds a little fishy to me.
I download the link from here, so i'm figuring its a good link / poker site. I go through the setup. create an account. With absolutely no trouble at all. Then try to login to play and take everybodys chips.
Well to my astonishment it wont let me in. I go through the support thing and am happy to see a quick response with a very polite lovely lady from support in the chat window. After a short conversation she says ..
" Looks like your from Canada".
To which I proudly reply...
"Why yes, I am from Canada".
Then after what seems like an eternity of silence she comes back and astonishes me by saying
"We only accept players from the US".
I shake my head..... and after picking myself up off the floor (got real dizzy), I focus my wabbly eyes back on the keyboard and type
"Let me get this straight...you only want criminals from the US ( by no fault of their own, thanx to a guy named Frist)?
Short pause.......
" No Mike" she says..... ( I woulda said that too).
So now my mind begins to wander. At first I thought maybe I mighta hit my head when I fell off my chair. But after a quick inspection in the mirror I begin to type again.
"Sounds like this might be some sorta BIG FBI, Department of Homeland Security, George Bush's last hurrah, STING operation to round up all the online gamling federal offence criminals from the US. With some sorta sick attempt to get the economy turned around by fining these so called criminals huge amounts of money, and getting the money back in the US instead of some offshore company."
After a long delay.......
"No Mike" she says
So I politely tell her "Good bye and thanx for the information."
"You welcome" she says "Is there anyting else I can help you with?"
"Oh no" I say "You have help more then you know"
And Quickly do the only thing I can do to help my online Poker buddies from the US.
WARN YOU ALL!!!!!! I BELIEVE THERE MAY BE A STING OPERATION OUT THERE TO GET YOU ALL!!!!
Watch what you do, and be careful where you sign up.
I cant afford to have you all locked up.
Where would my bankrolls come from????
And maybe one day, a long time from now when you look back and celabrate this day as a holiday on your calendar and give thanx to some guy named VVViper.
Dont forget why your not sitting in the slammer and maybe look me up on the poker site your sitting at and maybe tranfer me a fin or 2 to help my bank roll.

Do they really only take US players? I just looked and when players sign-up it has all kinds of countries listed....and Canada is one of them.

I think something is wrong with what you found out.....maybe your screwing with us? lol

Nope, not screwing with ya. Thats what she said.
Like I said I had no problem creating an account. And yes there was a drop down list with all kindsa countries listed. But when I tried to logon thats when the trouble started.
But if ya think about it .... if I was setting up a sting operation ...I would also list all other countries, as to not raise any suspision from the US players / criminals.
My advice to you all from the US, uninstall the software, pack up your computer, change your name, cut and dye your hair, and move.
Otherwise, practice not dropping the soap in the shower.

their are several skined sites that have the tb and cake look that only allow the us sportsbook is another also linesmaker and betUsi believe lock poker is also why is becuase of something to do with their sportsbook part of the sites unlike cake and tb which have none let me know if you find out why that is i don't know i just know it is and you could get info on us people through their i p addresses and lots of other ways easier if they were trying to sting us they would alos go after the casinos online and or the bingo spades and many other gambling sites anyways best of luck and sorry you can't play their we need more tax dollars so u r welcome to cross into the us heck u dont even have to be a citizen to live here either bye now

how ya been?
I've been playing at players for a couple of years now, been the same their.
You come up with some interresting concepts at times(that I've enjoyed looking at), I haven't looked into that area much,I feel this can happin, IF thats all they had to do in this area.. I believe they are focused on the bigger issues at this time, such as: large amounts of funds comming an going,at allmost a daily basis.. All these site are famous for skams, credit card fraud, "Drug cartel",money laundering, some well Im going to stop here, I just don't think thats comming in the near future, although its possible.

when it come to the site menu having all them countrys on it, I assume they are their cause of the the network they are using(basic program)..But strainge that you feel like this, it does make me wonder why this Site that only allows US players has SUCH a large large credit card acceptance, more than all site USA players can play. I do believe that their is a two or three state player lock their also, which leads me to wondering why ban them? or so to say "give them a break"..

I had heard that Sportsbook and PlayersOnly is now accepting Canadians....not sure if thats true tho.

I confirm:

USA AN CANADA are able to play
at this time at PlayersOnlyPoker
with a exception of two USA STATES: MISSORI & WASHINGTON

OK VVViper, I like the Cakenetwork allways have, this from Jan 2009, I believe their is a flaw!, as you will see in question 4, for what reason Im not shure?. You are not the only one I know that this has happin to but they are not from USA or Canada,. but it's repeating.
