I just thought it was time to say how much we appreciate all the work you guys do. I know it must take a lot of work to run this forum and set up all these games-not to mention the added prizes for the games and leagues. As a member I've got the easy part. All I have to do is log in everyday and make my picks for the contests and play in what ever games I want. So, thanks for all you do, Slydawg and Theoldguy. You are the best! (well, except when you take my chips :P)

Thank you very much jeffsbabe. We are here for you guys and we dont want things to happen like they did yesterday.
I am here for the enjoyment of a game I love to play and for the people that love the game.
I logged into my e-mail account today and I received at least 10 e-mails thanking me for making the right decision yesterday and opening up the freeroll to everyone. Some of them even unregistered prior to me opening it up which shows what kind of people we still have in our forum. I want to thank the players who sent those e-mails.
Honest mistakes happen and most people understand that....but there are always some that could careless.
I'm gonna say it cause I dont care anymore....the person that really layed into me was actually a so called "forum owner". I wont ever say who it is but even when you do go out of your way to help a fellow human being out of a life crisis this is how I get paid back. Uncalled for.
Anyways.....I appreciate the support we get from all the dedicated members here. Ya know we never have these kinds of problems when we just run buy-ins. Its always when a freeroll is involved.
Really sad.

It is really sad that freerolls cause so many problems. But we must overlook the small mole hills of problems and enjoy the mountains of friends and good times that we are able to have. Thanks for all your hard work guys :)

I'd like to add my TYs to Sly and his team also. Of the 100+ forums in which I'm registered, I think this is certainly one of the better ones. I especially like:
1. The simple contests and

Doing a posting contest is very tedious and extremely time consuming for the ones that are running it. I have been involved in them at other forums I have been associated with. It can also cause hate and discontent among members due to just the simple question "What do you mean by QUALITY POST?".
As you already know, the only posting we require here is that of your Screen Names at the different poker sites. That's so we can make sure you are included in the special games we have, which right now is, for our buy-in players.

yes, in the short time ive been here, this site is head and shoulders above the rest. you guys deserve more than a pat on the back! quality stuff,keep up the GREAT work!

I've been a member here pretty much since conception. Through the early good times and success to the crappy times and remodel. And I can honestly say that the dedication we all get from the staff here at slydawg is second to none. If this isn't the best place to be, then someone needs to show me somewhere better to be. I really think that would be near impossable. Again Sly and your short list of staff..... Like I and many loyal members have said a thousand times before...... Thanx for all you do.

Thought it was time to bump this thread. You guys do a "thankless" job and are taken for granted. Just wanted to remind you that you are the BEST! There are some people not happy unless they are complaining about something. Thanks for all you do!!!

I am going to say that this is one of if not the best ran forum kudos to that sly and tog I am happy that you guys decided to overlook my oeriod month and kept me as member..thx you 2 keep up the awsome job..

I have not been around as long as the others that have replied but i have been on other sites and forums and by a landslide this is the top one for me in my books. You guys will be stuck with for a long time and i really enjoy the games you guys have night in and night out. There is alot of effort required to run a site like this and you guys do a bang up job. Players are awesome. And much respect here for all you guys do.

I also wanted to say thanks guys and i really do like it here and the games you all put on and the easy contest, hell this is definatly one of my top forums and i am a member at a gazillion of them, but this one is the top 3 i look at every day :muscle_boy:
