Well Beantown, it seems you haven't played against N2K very much. I some times don't like his style of play, and normally he does this during a rebuy and add on games, so during that first hour, it is a donk game. But I will say this, N2K is by far, no donk. He will beat you, because you think he is a donk, and hit you with monster hands, as the game progresses. You just may want to find him in a game and watch. The actions in his games will tell you a whole different story. Not defending him, just warning as to what and how he will play. Oh and if you want to try him in a cash game, he is more than willing.

Ditto to N2K not being a donk. Like the old saying goes "You can't judge a book by its cover."

Good post Bad Boy. N2k has realized something crucial about the games of most players and is exploiting it to the maximum. What may appear no irrational, maniac behaviour is carefully considered play. Sometimes it works for him and sometimes it doesn't, but it alway produces the same reaction - the other players at the table are leery of him because he is apt to go allin at anytime. When his style works he does well;when hit doesn't he is eliminated early. There is a small cadre of forum players who play this style. But, in N2K's case, I have been at a table with him where he hasn't played a hand for an hour because conditions were n't favourable to him. He understands the game, but more importantly the other players. This is not donk play, it is good poker play.

My suggestion to players that are so ready to criticize others - study their game first - they be a little better and little smater than you think.
